Our story
Alissa found her love for building floral arrangements eight years ago and began working with flowers as a hobby. She found that flowers helped her feel connected to others and this led to preparing florals for family and friends' events. While working full time in healthcare and spending as much time with her daughter who is now six, Alissa knew that spending time crafting arrangements was an investment in her self care and filled her cup. Joy in Bloom launched officially in February of 2021 when Alissa realized that she could share her love for florals through creating impactful memories of special occasions and share what brings her joy with others.
